Myofascial Cupping is a soft tissue therapy that involves the application of cups on the skin, which create a vacuum effect and lift up tissues such as fascia, muscles, blood, lymph and other fluids.
The cups can be left on for a period of time where facial adhesions and trigger points are found, or they may be manually moved in a gliding motion over the surface of the skin.
Cupping works by stimulating inhibitory neural pathways, altering pain thresholds, promoting blood circulation, receiving swelling and increasing tissue temperature. It has been shown to reduce discomfort, improve range of motion and has a good effect in relieving chronic pain, therefore improving quality of life.

Indian head massage, as the name indicates, originated from India and is an ancient therapeutic practice that has been used for over 2000 years. It is a beautifully traditional, nurturing practice that is now popular amongst Western cultures.
It focuses on massaging acupressure points along the head, neck and shoulders, using circular massage strokes to improve hair and scalp condition, and release tension from the head and neck.
Along with its benefits for helping scalp and hair health, it is also beneficial in todays society for stress relief and tension.
Book this treatment on its own, or add it on to any other service- the price will be adjusted by time upon payment.

Facial Cupping is done with small, silicone cups which create a light suction effect and are softly dragged over the top of the skin. This is my favourite way to do lymphatic drainage of the face and neck as the suction effect pulls the lymph and fluids away from the area and into the lymph nodes for the body to dispose of. It also pulls blood into the fascia area below the surface of the skin, creating new vessel formation which helps with tissue generation. Circulation is key to looking and feeling healthy.
Facial cupping has been shown to:
-increase oxygen- rich blood circulation
-strengthen skin and connective tissue
-stimulate cells responsible for collagen production
-relax muscle tension
Because of this, it is said to:
-brighten skin and minimise fine lines and wrinkles
-tone the chin, jawline, neck and décolletage
-decrease puffiness
-regulate oil production
